What is Innovative Bodywork & Yoga?

Innovative Bodywork & Yoga was founded by Rebecca Kraemer, LMT, BCTMB in 2008 as a space for exploring the benefits of bodywork, yoga and meditation to stimulate good health. We practice a style of massage that is heavily based on precision and sensitivity that comes from a thorough education in anatomy, physiology, and technique. We believe our sessions offer the perfect blend of science-based technique and intuition to help our clients achieve their goals.

Innovative Bodywork & Yoga attracts clients seeking injury recovery from both acute and chronic issues. We specialize in Therapeutic and Deep Tissue Massage including Sports Massage and Prenatal/Postpartum Massage. We also offer specialties such as LomilomiReikiMyofacial ReleaseNeuromuscular Therapy, and Orthopedic Massage Cupping.

For those seeking to take their healing off the table, we also offer private lessons for Yoga and Meditation.

In addition to our offerings, Innovative Bodywork LLC is a Socially Responsible Business. This means we have a commitment to our community, our employees and our environment. At least 10% of all profits go back to our community in the form of gift certificates, free chair events and direct donations. We also use only organic cleaning supplies, we compost and recycle and the majority of the products we use on our clients are certified organic and all are cruelty-free.

What to Expect

Sessions are held in a private, comfortable setting.  You can expect to be treated with respect and professionalism, as all sessions can be catered towards your and the therapist’s comfort level.  The organic lotions and oils used are scent-free and cruelty-free as are the laundry detergents.

Please arrive on time for your appointment.  New clients should expect to spend the first 10 minutes of their session going over health history information. Please plan to arrive early to fill out an intake form.  Each session will start and end with a brief check-in to help you achieve your goals.

Life happens, and appointments can be cancelled or rescheduled up until 24 hours prior to the appointment.  Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice or “no shows” will be subject to the full appointment fee.
